Philadelphia Police Officer Hurts Knee Running After Suspect

A Philadelphia Police officer suffered a knee injuring while chasing down a suspect who darted after a traffic stop overnight.

The incident began when the 12th District officer pulled over a sedan at 52nd Street and Baltimore Avenue in Southwest Philadelphia early Wednesday.

For some reason, the man in the car made a dash for it, leading the officer on a foot pursuit.
